Tibet, located in the southwestern border of China, the higher of the Tibetanplateau has the thin air, large vertical drop and the topography is complicated. Thathow to combine the local nature, climate, human environment, on the basis of buildinga harmonious coexistence with the local natural climate buildings, makes the localresidential sustainable development is worth to study. This paper mainly studies thescope of ‘kham of Eastern Tibet’ refers to the part is located in kham of eastern Tibetautonomous region, the range is the Qamdo prefecture of Tibet. The region located inthe qinghai-tibet plateau, having cold winter and short summer.This paper starting from the natural environment characteristics of kham ofEastern Tibet, mainly studies the climate adaptability of the houses, invests and studiesthe eastern Kham houses, and selects the local residential building thermalenvironment analysis. We analyze and discuss the climate adaptability of kham ofEastern Tibet to deepen understanding the house of Kang Region of Eastern Tibet.Finally, combining the theory of architecture and climatology, the paper discusses theclimate adaptability of local residential housing, to summarize suitable for kham ofEastern Tibet local-style dwelling houses building climate development strategy andprovide certain reference for the local local-style dwelling houses building constructionin the future. This paper is divided into six parts, the main content can be summarized intothree theme. To understand the relationship between architecture and climate; Find theadvantages and disadvantages of local dwellings in climate adaptability, think andsummary the local residential construction experience, found worthy of our reference;To search for and applicable to the Tibet area of improvement measures, to optimizethe design of local construction.
