Huabei Oilfield grid power system is important to protect oil production and people’s life. With the expansion of oil fields, electricity load increased year by year. Although the grid for economic development of the region have made a significant contribution, it is also exposed some problem. Such as insufficient power supply capacity, weaken grid structure, poor reliability of power. In order to solve the problems, I do some research in distribution network. First of all, the development status and ideas on domestic and international distribution network planning had been analysed, the geographical of Huabei oilfield, distribution of electric power network had been investigated, and summarizes the problems that exist in the transmission lines. Secondly, according to the basic data and Huabei oilfield development goals, the future electricity and power load has carried on the bold prediction. It has been proposed six kinds of load forecasting method and the applicability of each method has been discussed. It was used four methods on Huabei oilfield area planning during the period of the load forecasting, and selected the recommended scheme. Thirdly, the algorithm of distribution network planning theory and mathematics model has been established. With the help of software, oilfield grid power system has been optimized and evaluation. Finally, according to the load forecasting results of Huabei oilfield area, proposed optimization algorithm scheme. Combined with the principle of technology on oilfield distribution network planning, respectively from two aspects of high voltage distribution network and medium voltage distribution network, it had given a rationality analysis at last.The planning result has uniqueness, but the load forecasting method, the optimization algorithm, the software validation of the power planning in other areas have significance and reference value. If planning would have been successfully applied to the oil field of north China power grid optimization reconstruction projects, it will obtain good effect.
