Applicatioin Reseach On BIM Technology In Project Cost Control

With the continuous improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength, the construction industry which as one of the pillar industries is rapidly developing along the direction of the market, It also proposed a new project management requirements with its expanding scale.The problems how to improve efficiency, reduce error rates, improve the quality of management and information sharing and other issues are imminent for the entire project cost industry. Building Information Modeling technology is an information integration technology of multi-dimensional model which developed over the past decade based on original CAD technology. BIM has been increasingly recognized in China’s construction industry because of its high degree of information integration and visualization features. With the bore and developing of BIM, decision-makers and participants have new ways at the management of Collaborative work, information sharing.Based on the full study on the cost control principles and BIM technology, paper build a cost control system based on BIM, and also has an applied research in practical engineering projects. Firstly, this paper studied the basic theory of cost control, and then delved into the analysis method of earned value and its working mechanism. Secondly, based on the full understanding of BIM technology features, the paper analyzed the principle and the feasibility for the application of BIM technology in cost control, showed that the cost control system has advantages than traditional means in cost control.The article researched and developed the cost control system based on basis theory, carried on the design of system architecture, operation flow, software interface, database and data interface in turn, and complete software development. Finally, the paper studied the cost control system in the practical application of engineering, and found the factors influencing the site cost and schedule of the project through the analysis of the actual project data, and completes the cost control of project through the implementation of corrective measures to it.With the continuous development of computer technology, BIM technology is more and more widely applied to engineering practice. This article is to take advantage of this technology, and its application to cost management helps managers to quickly identify problems and improve the efficiency of cost control.
