As the basis of the optimization problem,the location of substation not only can bring effective economic benefits, but also can improve the capacity and reliability of power supply in the future of the network.And it can also reduce line losses.Thus,it brings greater social benefits.The location of substation plays a decisive role in power system network structure.Firstly, the article introduces the research background and significance of the location of substation, as well as research status of the location of substation, and the main research method.Secondly, the article introduces some theories of the location of substation, including a brief introduction of the location of substation,the factors which influence the location of substation, the risks of the location of substation and the methods of the location of substation and so on.Then,the paper constructed substation siting evaluation index system, including the establishing principles of selecting indicators,establishing evaluation index system,the meaning of evaluation index.Evaluation index system includes site basic condition, site traffic condition,site hydrometeorological condition, engineering geological condition,power supply, environment and construction condition,economic cost and social results and so on.On the basis,this paper establishes index evaluation standard.Next,this paper constructs comprehensive evaluation model and uses AHP to determine the weights of each index including the determination of one-level index weights and two-lvevl weights.Finally,this paper carries out evaluation of the location of Tieling Fujia66 kV substation.It firstly studies Tieling Fujia 66 kV substation location.Then,it analyzes each index,including site basic conditions analysis, station address traffic conditions analysis, site analysis of hydrometeorological conditions, analysis of engineering geological conditions,economic cost conditions analysis and social results conditions analysis, and the sites I and II sites compare all conditions. Then the article describes the experts on each index scoring table and Fujia 66 kV substation siting fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.
