Tashan Sluice, located in Tangdian Town of Xinyi City, which lies at the middle stream of the Shu River, is the main water storage control project of the middle part of Xinyi City. However, due to historical reasons, this sluice is of low design standard which makes it hard to exert its utilizable benefit during the past running years. In order to master the overall safety status and ensure safe use of this sluice, this paper performed analysis on the problem of energy dissipation and erosion control of Tashan Sluice, calculated and analyzed stress and sedimentation of the lock chamber structure, and established matter element extension comprehensive evaluation model to analyze the safety state of Tashan Sluice. The main study contents of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the practical running status, this articl performed sectional model test for Tashan Sluice in Shu River combining with energy dissipation, scouring protection, and damage status of the Tashan Sluice lower reach of the past multiple years. This artical performed experimental study on energy dissipation and flushing status under the sluice, and analyzed the scouring reason of the lower reach of the project, and proposed restructure plan to facilities for energy dissipation and erosion protection.(2)Expounds the basic principle of three dimensional finite element software of ABAQUS.The sluice structure stress field and displacement field was analyzed by the three dimensional finite ABAQUS software.(3)Based on the provisions of the safety appraisal,the project safety state evaluation index system of the Tashan sluice was built.According to "multiplication scale method" and "weight coefficient method", a new weight fusion method-ideal point method was proposed.(4)Based the matter element theory, theory of extension set and its correlation function, the Tashan sluice matter element extension comprehensive evaluation model was established and this sluice was defined in a safe condition.
