At present, China is at an important stage in the construction of modern, urban development construction need to consume a lot of materials resources. The lack of resources and the being deteriorate environment restricts the development of the building materials industry. Under the guidance of the national green building, energy-efficient building project, ZJN Corporation cooperates with the NA government in the project of comprehensive utilization of powder. Using pollution powder to product a kind of new building materials is in order to promote the sustainable development of the economy and the environment of the region.Through the research on the second phase of the project, due to some experience in construction management of the first phase and the impact of market factors, objectives schedule of the second phase of the project is shortened by three or four weeks than the first phase. In order to ensure economic efficiency of enterprises and business reputation, it is necessary to manage and control the project, use a variety of resources to achieve the project schedule objectives.Based on the project of comprehensive utilization of powder, expound the practical application process of project schedule management theory in this project. First discusses the progress of the project management theory and techniques; secondly, introduces the project overview, analyze the causes of schedule once been delayed, fully assess project’s operations and financial evaluation under the impact of delay, summarize the key link of project schedule management. The third discussed in detail how to use the project schedule management theory to develop schedule, construct project work breakdown structure, determine the order relations, estimate the time, formulate the schedule and network diagram and point out the critical path. The S shape curve comparison method and earned value method for schedule control for inspection and analysis, also discusses the realization of project progress control target assurance measures, so as to realize the project progress scientific management and effective control.Project schedule and control is an important part of project management, it‘s important to evaluate the project management performance, through the study of this paper could provide reference for similar project schedule management.
