Avionics data bus technique is one of the avionics system key techniques. It is the nerve center and data exchanging tie to connecting airborne equipment. The 1553 B bus is selected as the communication carrier of the avionics system. It’s very necessary to monitor the transmission data on 1553 B bus and judge whether the data has some deviation, delay, distortion and jump. The scientific research personnel can locate the error quickly and do some necessary post analysis by monitoring the data transmission on 1553 B bus. Interface Control Document(ICD) is introduced to assist the bus data analytic which can reflect the real physical meaning of the bus data.Firstly, the standard, composition and transmission mechanism of 1553 B aviation bus and the content characteristic of the Interface Control Document is analyzed by this paper; Secondly, the requirement analysis of the monitor system is done and the nonfunctional and functional requirement were given by this paper. After the performance comparison, the QCP-1553 B integrated circuit board from GE Company, portable industrial computer from Getac Company and necessary cable were selected to put up the experiment environment for the monitor system in hardware view.The overall design for the monitor system is done and the system is divided into ICD database management module, bus data monitor module and 1553 B protocol simulation module in software view. Aiming at ICD database management module, XML is selected to establish the ICD database. The maintenance interface is designed and the research on the ICD automation is done. Aiming at bus data monitor module, the data collection is realized by the specific integrated circuit board by means of relevant API functions. The bus data is resolved according to ICD and displayed by a combination of chart, curve and instrument. Aiming at 1553 B protocol simulation module, the work mechanism of BC and RT is probed and realized. Then, the abstract modeling for the behaviors of BC and RT is done. The research for the simulation of BC and RT is done by Object Oriented Programming technique.Finally, the system functions not only in hardware view but also in software view mentioned in system requirement analysis were tested and the result shows that the monitor system satisfies experiment requirement and has a great application prospect.
