The Impact Of Yiqi-huoxue Formula On The Expression Of COX-1,COX-2and PGE₂and Analysis Of Correlation Between Them And QOUH

Objective:To inherit the old Chinese medicine doctor Hang Yifeng’s learning and experience prescription,with theapplication of science techniques,observe the expression of cyclooxygenase-1(COX-1),cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) in patient’s mucosa with peptic ulcer disease under different methods before and after treatment. Explore the impact of Yiqi-huoxue formula on the expression of COX-1,COX-2and PGE2,and investigate the correlation between the expression of all three and quality of ulcer healing(QOUH),this provides a basis for clinical treatment of peptic ulcer.Methods:With the principles of randomized and double-blind,60cases of peptic ulcer patients are divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group(30cases) are treated with Yiqi-huoxue Formula and omeprazole, the control group(30cases) are treated with omeprazole only.Take eight weeks for a course of treatment.The Hp positive ulcer patients are administrated with triple therapy for ten days according to the fourth national helicobacter pylori infection consensus report. All patients are received gastroscope and regular pathological examinations before and after treatment. We detected the expression of COX-1,COX-2and PGE2in mucosa of all the cases by immunohistochemical method before and after treatment.The clinical efficacy and the quality of ulcer healing is evaluated after treatment.Results:After the treatment, the expression of COX-1,COX-2and PGE2in gastric or duodenal mucosa in two groups were higher than that before treatment, the differences are statistically significant(P<0.05). Compared with the control group,significantly higher expression of COX-1,COX-2and PGE2in gastric or duodenal mucosa was observed in the treatment group after treatment(P<0.05).Correlation Analysis has confirmed that the expression levels of COX-1,COX-2and PGE2in gastric mucosa were positively correlated with QOUH after treatment.Conclusion:Combined use of Yiqi-huoxue Formula and acid inhibitors in treating Peptic ulcer may improve the expression levels of COX-1,COX-2and PGE2in mucosa,then reinforce the mucosa’s protection,accelerating healing and at the same improve the quality of ulcer healing.
