| Many research attempts have been made on news trans-editing. However, theyare desired in terms of theoretical frameworks, research areas and special approaches.The present thesis attempts to make a research on column news from theSkopostheorie perspective to shed light on translation practice. Through studying thecase “10Years of Iraq”, the author wants to verify the approaches used in generalnews trans-editing can be employed in column news trans-editing and improve thequality of trans-edited news. At the meantime, the examples quoted from the ChineseBusiness View are to testify the applicability of the Skopostheorie in column news, andgeneralize the usage of some approaches. |
