The Chinese complement is one of the most important grammatical element which has noequivalent in other languages like Russian, English or Franch,It is also a cause for studentsmisusing these complements.By analysing the complements through the research methods ofquestionnaire analysis and colletion of linguistic datum,the author found there are few equ-ivalent complements in two languages. Therefore it causes students′misuses in Chinese com-plements, including Substitution, Disorder, Omission, Mix and Add.The analysis is based on110questionaires in three different universities,and these materials provide strong proofs forthe paper.Reasons for this are mainly from both subjective and objective aspects. Suggestionsfor improving this learning situation are provided in this paper.Wishing that it could become anassistance for Chinese complement learning and teaching.
