A Report On Interpreting For Beijing Broadwell International Tennis Club

With the continuous expanding of economic globalization and the deepening of China’s reform and opening up, the communication between China and other countries is developing on many levels, and the importance of interpreting is becoming obvious. Especially since the reform and opening up, some sports that are popular in other countries began to develop in China, and more and more Chinese people are fond of them. So introducing professional foreign coaches becomes many clubs’ choice, which means interpreting service is needed widely. This report is based on the author’s personal experience as the intern interpreter of Beijing Broadwell International Tennis Club to record and summarize the interpreting tasks during those days in detail.The interpreting tasks mainly include consecutive interpreting and escort interpreting. Based on the cases of conference interpreting and teaching interpreting, this report records the difficulties and problems in the process, the solutions to solve those problems, and the translation variation strategy summarized later.This report consists of 4 parts: the first part is a detailed description of the whole project; the second part describes the process of interpreting; the third part is case analysis of the project; the final part is an in-depth summary of the whole project.
