This paper use corpus technology, studies 5 representative words of the plants in semantic field, they are’Ya’,’Miao’,’Ye’,’Mu’,’Shu’. Contrast the five words meaning in Modern Chinese Dictionary (sixth edition). To the meanings of these five words distribution situation for research. At the same time, the research results will be used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, help International students in language studying can effectively solve their doubts arise when studying these plants words.The paper consists of three parts.The first part introduces the current research status, to studies the noun classification from systematic perspective of vocabulary, and then to set up a single-syllable noun vocabulary classification system.The second part is composed of the first chapter to fifth. A chapter studies a word and a total of five chapters. Every chapter consists of six parts:The first is introduction. In some medium-sized English dictionary and Chinese dictionary as an example and refer to the dictionary for this article research the interpretation of the plants words. To compare when they explanation the same word are difference whether or not. The second is downloaded and build a corpus. Download all related corpus in CCL and imported into the access database. On the basis of Modern Chinese Dictionary annotated the corpora. The third, through annotation and analysis of the database and then to statistics distribution and explain the word’s meanings again. The forth, though the analysis of former three parts and then using the theory of linguistics, lexicology and dictionary, explaining our studied results. The fifth, for vocabulary teaching Chinese as a foreign language put forward the teaching strategy. The sixth is summary. To the studies make a summary.The third part is the conclusion of the paper, this part points out the innovations and inadequacies of this article.
