Positive psychology is a growing new power in psychology study field at the end of the20th century. Positive psychology advocates a positive attitude to interpret all kinds ofpsychological phenomenon, to find and build its own positive energy and inner qualities. Weapply the theory to the junior middle school class construction. Then, under the guidance ofpositive psychology, students, parents and teachers’ evaluation model and original contentcan be improved; students can be guided to learn positive self-evaluation; the teachers andparents expectations and evaluations can be optimized; students can be helped to establishpositive comments on life and events. Therefore, positive psychology can promote thedevelopment of the students’ self unified feeling and form a good class group life.By applying positive psychology in concrete practical exploration of the construction ofthe teacher in class and physiological health lessons, and combining with the new thought ofto drive the point with a positive evaluation, students can be helped to have positiveself-image, positive self-statements and the good development process of self-consciousness.In the meantime, based on intervention studies, we can guide students to establish goodself-psychological and understand themselves more comprehensively, dialectically,objectively and positively; help parents and teachers to optimize expectation and evaluationmode, can focus on from the problems and mistakes of students to positive qualities. Bytraining students to establish positive comments on life and events and optimistic style ofexplanation, and establishing the good teachers and students, students and students, parentsand schools relations, the good social support systems can be built and the development ofstudents’ self-awareness can be promoted. Meanwhile the teachers abilities of designing andbuilding harmonious class have made great progress. So, the above mentioned can promotestudents’ positive experience, cultivate students’ positive personality quality, achieve theall-round development of students.In this paper, the main research conclusions can be described as follows:(1) There are close relationships between the development of self-awareness andpsychological self, important others evaluations and expectations, explanatory style and themental environment in classes. (2) Based on the concept of positive psychology, by the psychological health educationcourse and class construction activities, we make interventions to psychological self,important others evaluations and expectations, explanatory style and the mental environmentin classes, then, students made great progress in development of self-awareness.(3) The use of the concept of positive psychology, interventions are made for the juniorhigh school students in self-awareness and psychological self, important others evaluationsand expectations, explanatory style and the mental environment in classes. The results showthe effects for girl students are superior to boy students. Furthermore, the intervention iseffective to the first and second grade junior middle school students.
