Practice is a prominent teaching program in textbook compilation.However, the practice study of specific language in Chinese as a foreign language teaching material is insufficient and unsystematic.On the basis of previous studies, the author selected the oral teaching material whcih was widely used at present, and a composite materials written by hanban. The author takes the purpose of Chinese as a foreign language paractice designing and three principles practice setting of theoretical as the basis. Then carry an arrangement on "is" in term of words and grammar. The author put forward three types of exercise:mechanical practice, understanding practice and communicative practice for the purpose of strengthening review, and diagnostic checking, etc. In this thesis, it makes statistics about interpratation and practice of sentence with “is” in Chinese as a foreign language material, pointing out that the topic of "is" is very representative, respectively in practice of replacingt,completing the session, and rewriting the sentences and so on.Combining with HSK dynamic composition corpus and spoken corpora in jinan university, the thesis points out that "is" in the actual application appears to miuse and leakage.The thesis combines errors types of “is” sentence and the characteristics of the teaching material practice design, which tells thepractice designing problems of “is” sentece in the Chinese as a foreign language teaching material. And the author offers some suggestions to explain the semantics, syntax, and pragmatice of language point, to construct idiomaticity environment and speech scene, to make the practice designing more interesting and to improve the combination of the text content.
