Report On The Management Of This Is Hilong C-E TEP Project

With the high-speed development of economic globalization, the rapid expanding of localization service demand has injected new impetus into translation industry. Translation is no longer an activity completed by one or several independent translators, but the one completed together by one or several teams. In other words, translation has become an activity to satisfy the client through translation project management. As an efficient management approach, translation project management has been extensively applied to translation service industry.This practice report, based on the translation project management theory as well as the author’s experience as the project manager of This is Hilong C-E TEP project, makes a description of the project from the project manager’s angle. This report focuses on the project process, summarizes the problems confronted in different procedures and puts forward corresponding solutions, so as to provide translation project management experience to guide future practice.
