The application of Chinese culture in teaching Chinese is very important as well as meaningful, that is why one of the best methods of learning Chinese culture is through Chinese folklore fairy-tales. Moreover, a huge number of Chinese language teachers all over the world are taking this path to teach Chinese culture to foreigners due to its rich content and simple language. The main purpose of teaching Chinese folklore fairy -tales during the lessons is the improvement of reading, speaking, listening skills and getting a wide understanding of Chinese culture and language. In addition, teaching Chinese folklore fairy-tales is based on introducing Chinese folk culture, paying attention to the aspect of cultural communication.The Thesis can be divided into three parts:Chapter Ⅰ:The introduction of origin, purpose, aim, reason and method of research.Chapter Ⅱ:The explanation of Chinese folklore fairy-tales’ meaning, characteristics and classifications.Chapter Ⅲ:Includes the comparison between Chinese and Russian folklore fairy-tales.Chapter Ⅳ:Offers the situational analysis of Chinese folklore fairy-tales usage in Chinese language education. Moreover, this thesis is aimed to focus the Russian intermediate level learners of Chinese.
