A Report On Escort Interpreting Of Canadian Family Adoption Activity In July 2015

This is an escort report based on Canadian family adoption activity in July2015 at Shijiazhuang Social Welfare Institution. This report takes the accommodation arrangement, procedures of getting adoption certificate at Civil Affairs Department of Hebei Province, doing the notarial acts at Yanzhao Notary Office and other significant affairs as the subjects and analyses the problems in the escort interpreting work.The first two chapters are the description of the interpreting task description and interpreting process. The third chapter is about case study which is also the most important part in this report. The author takes a fully discussion in this chapter. The third chapter is divided into four parts, and each part focus on different subject which includes the comprehension barriers caused by the mix of many languages,misunderstanding caused by cultural difference, complex situations caused by many people speaking at the same time and the problem of short term memory. The author uses some of the relevant coping strategies and gives some solutions to the problems during the interpreting process. By analyzing this whole process, the author makes a summary in the last chapter, hoping this thesis will be helpful for the future work.
