Teaching design is an overall plan of teaching activities, which is an effective way to put the teaching theories into practice. The stand or fall of the quality of teaching design has a direct impact on the teaching effect. For teachers, the teaching design is an overall plan for classroom teaching after the comprehensive consideration of the factors such as teaching content, object and environment, and it is also teachers’ confidence in the class; for students, a good teaching design can enhance their motivation of learning, and promote their initiative to accept and absorb the learning content, and improve their learning efficiency. It is the catalysts of students’ learning activities.The comprehensive course of TCSL is not only a basic language comprehensive course, but also a language practice course. It is the main course of MTCSOL. In final analysis, the teaching goal of comprehensive course is to cultivate students’ ability to use language to communicate. The comprehensive course of the intermediate stage is different from the primary and senior stages in the teaching of vocabulary, text and grammar. If you want to make the students have a good knowledge of the grammar points and communicates smoothly. It requires that teachers take all the relevant factors in to account, and carry out a detailed teaching design.This paper has take the first lesson of The Development of Chinese(Second Edition) intermediate comprehensive course(I)—— The four seasons in Beijing as an example. Under the guidance of the theory of comprehensive course teaching practice to analyze the teaching materials and objects as an entry point, and explore the theoretical basis of teaching design and specific steps. The teaching design makes a detailed statement of the teaching activities of each period, and put forward some of my own ideas and methods about teaching. And it will be useful for a timely manner to reflect. The way will not only conducive to improve the deficiencies in the process of teaching, but also to the timely summary and promotion of effective experience and methods of MTCSOL. And provide beneficial reference for the major.This paper has been divided into five parts:Part I: Introduction. This paper expounds the reason and significance of the selected topic. This paper mainly introduces the present situation of domestic and foreign research on the design of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The second part: the analysis of teaching materials and teaching object. To analyze The Development of Chinese(Second Edition) intermediate comprehensive course(I) on the following four aspects: the characteristics of the text, the theme and style of the texts, the distribution of vocabulary and language points, the arrangements of the exercises. The third part: the teaching design of the four seasons in Beijing. The design of teaching ideas; The design of teaching methods; The design of teaching process. The fourth part: The teaching reflection and the experience summary of the design for this course. The fifth part: summary. It is a comprehensive summary of the full text.
