| Nowadays, in order to seek the much better development, China grows more open to the outside world in economy, politics and culture consequently. More and more English programs flood into Chinese mass media industry, but just few high-quality domestic programs are introduced to foreign countries. Therefore, the author finishes the interpreted practice based on the material of Do Not Leave any Pity in Your Life of the Voice and writes a report by listing and analyzing the problems encountered in the process of consecutive interpreting.Based on the interpreting experience, the author would elaborate and summarize these concrete issues related to these TV programs such as the interpreting skills and provides reference for the interpreting and compiling of programs with similar subjects.This thesis consists of three parts:introduction, main body and conclusion. Its main contents are as follows:The first part is the introduction which includes the research background, the value and practical significance of the Voice.The second part is the main body, which is made up of three chapters.In Chapter One, the task description is mainly introduced. Firstly, the overview of The Voice and the content of one episode Do Not Leave any Pity in Your Life are given, and then the characteristics of this TV program are showed.The process description is introduced in Chapter Two. The preparation before interpreting is discussed. Then the process of interpreting is presented.The case analysis is in Chapter Three. How to apply the interpreting skills, such as the linear and liberal interpretation, amplification and omission and adjustment in interpretation is concluded. Then the error analysis and strategies for emergency are talked about.The last part is the conclusion which makes a summary of the report. Through the analysis and summaries of the whole interpreting process, the author collects much precious valuable experience which is very important for the future interpreting work. |
