Due to the sharp development of the economy of China, which leads to many countries,many people want to learn Chinese as a second language. And how to make Chinese freshers are interested in Chinese in a short time have become the teaching goal of Primary oral Chinese class. It’s been a long time that traditional teaching method as a leading role. It advocates the teacher centered, develops students the skill of reading, writing Chinese, not speaking and listening Chinese. This teaching method already doesn’t meet the students demand. Through my investigation and teaching experience, I realize that Communicative Approach applies to Primary Oral Chinese class has many advantages, like Communicative Approach advocates “Functional-Notional” as syllabuses, class teaching communicative; the student centered. According to student’s practical reality, simulating the real life in order to convenient for students to practice their oral Chinese, and speak Chinese as soon as they can.First, I analyze the Communicative Approach researching status, and then introduces the characteristic and practical goal of the Communicative Approach; under the guidance of Communicative Approach and Primary Oral Chinese teaching’s goal, content,emphases, we can conclude that Communicative Approach is better to applies in Primary Oral Chinese class teaching. So I design the teaching plan of “It would be better to go to the hospital than to the drug store”, by teaching in the actual teaching process. We still have many shortcomings of students, teachers, teaching materials. Finally, we proposed relevant suggestions by relying on the reflection of the problems.
