In recent years, Nanning, the capital of Guangxi has held China-ASEAN Exposition (CAEXPO), China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) as well as Nanning International Folk Songs Arts Festival, which enhances the global influence of Guangxi. More attention has been paid to the development of foreign trade of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Guangxi. Consequently, the corporate promotional material translation is of great importance to boost the SMEs’further development.This paper takes the promotional material of Guilin Erica’s Industrial Corporation Limited as the corpora. It studies the translation of source texts covering Company Profile, Trade Relations with South Korea and Japan, SWOT Analysis of Clothes-rack Industry as well as the Employee Manual. It mainly adopts Hans J. Vermeer’s Skopos Theory as the theoretical framework, analyzing the translation approaches in the case study.It is important to study the translation in technical terms, sentence patterns and writing style which are exclusive to corporate promotional material. This report discusses how to translate the general expressions, product categories and conferred honors in the material. The translation practice report in detail presents the whole process, analyzes the selected cases to probe into appropriate translation strategies, and reveals the author’s experience & understanding as well as the research limitations. Finally, it is expected that this report could be of valid reference value for relevant translation research.
