As a result of International promotion of China, it has been very popular of learning Chinese all around the world. Confucius Institute are playing a very important role on international promotion of Chinese language. In Australia, Chinese has been the top 1 Asian language that the most of Australians are learning. It is very important to play games in class to make Chinese class more interesting. However, few people have studied the differences of Game Teaching Method for students with different age and language level.This thesis investigates and analyzes different Game Teaching Method for different age and language level according to author’s teaching experiences and research in Confucius Institute at University of Newcastle. Then case analysis for students is designed at the end of thesis.There are 5 chapters in this thesis. In chapter 1, current situation, meaning and method of this research have been introduced. The basic information of teaching system in Confucius Institute at University of Newcastle has been told as well. Chapter 2 talks about basic features classification and theoretical basis of Game Teaching method. Chapter 3 talks that author teaches at Confucius Institute at University of Newcastle, who has done the research that Game Teaching Method in different levels of teaching objects, which discusses the characteristics of the different level of Chinese teaching object, teaching principles applicable game suitable for all levels of teaching and the object of the game. At last, case analysis of Game Teaching method are designed. The fourth chapter is the study of teaching different age characteristics of the object, the current situation of game Teaching Method. Finally case anslysis are designed for students of different ages. Conclusion in the fifth chapter summarizes the contents of the above four chapters, and opinions and suggestions of Game teaching method are given at end.
