As economic interactions between China and other countries become increasingly extensive, E-C translation of business news is getting more and more significant. Under the guidance of Eco-translatology, based on the author’s 50 business news translations from Huanqiu Translate and Edit Platform(HTEP), this report summarizes the typical difficulties in the process of translation and the corresponding translation solutions. In the process of translating, there are several difficulties:(1) hard to transform the structures due to the lengthy attributive clauses or the exclusive sentence pattern;(2) hard to transform the attributive clauses with foreign elements;(3) hard to transform the semantic meaning because of the inconformity of logical thoughts between English and Chinese. All the translation difficulties above result in poor readability of attributive clauses and even poor communicative effect of the translation. Eco-translatology provides a scientific and systematic theoretical basis for the E-C translation of attributive clauses in business news. E-C translation of attributive clauses in business news is a dynamic procedure to adapt to and select current translational eco-environment constantly, which requires adaptive selection from three dimensions, namely, linguistic transformation, cultural transformation and communicative transformation. The most integrated text is the most optimum translation text. This report indicates that division or combination of attributive clauses can be adopted in linguistic dimension; insertion or addition of attributive clauses can be employed in cultural dimension; adverbialization or reconstruction of attributive clauses can be used in communicative dimension. Translators are required to integrate the three dimensions when necessary.
