The traditional national sovereignty theory believes that national sovereignty isinalienable. However, in the development process, the practice of transferringsovereignty of EU countries has broken through the traditional concept. Startingfrom the economic sphere, the EU countries have gradually realized the sovereigntytransfer in the economic, political and legal fields. I believe that the sovereigntytransfer of the EU countries does not change the status of sovereignty, but can beseen an innovative way of sovereignty. Transferring the sovereignty of EU countriesprovide new ideas and useful lessons for us in the background of globalization onhow to effectively safeguard national sovereignty.This paper is divided into three parts. In the first part, I provide a definition ofsovereignty transfer and three types of sovereignty transfer theories.By analyzingthe different sovereignty theories, I point the root of dispute of sovereignty transferand then analyze the basis of sovereignty transfer in reality. In the second part, Idiscuss the economic, political and legal aspects of the reality of sovereignty transfer,as exemplified by the EU countries. In the third part, I comment sovereignty transferpractice of the EU countries from personal point, and discuss the impact of thispractice on international law and the inspiration for the modern countries onsovereignty issues.
