Research On Nonprofit Organizations’ Effectiveness Evaluation

ABSTRACT:With the constant improvement of market economy, the non-profit organization plays an increasingly important role in national development. Various problems also have been exposed with the rapid development of non-profit organizations, such as mission drafting, management confusion, voluntary failure etc. However, effectiveness evaluation of non-profit organizations becomes the breakthrough to solve these related problems. By combining the theory of stakeholders with effectiveness evaluation of non-profit organization, this thesis establishes a comprehensive evaluation system to promote the development of the non-profit organization by the effectiveness evaluation research.Mainly combined the research data and results of management science, sociology and other subjects, the article thesis made a systemic pectination on the effectiveness evaluation system of non-profit organization by literature research, which including domestic and international research trends, related concepts and theoretical basis, etc. On this basis, the thesis gives a concrete analysis to the difficulties and problems of the performance evaluation system of non-profit organization. It designs the effectiveness evaluation system of nonprofit organization by empirical research. At first, it divides four dimensions, including resource capacity, organization structure, business process and project and service efficiency according to the evaluation form. In dimensions, the thesis constructs the inefficiency index of nonprofit organization, and it also introduces analytic hierarchy process to determine the index weight of non-profit organizations, using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to assess organizational effectiveness, and putting the use of case studies on the Red Cross in a city, and at last, the paper states the applicability of effectiveness evaluation system of non-profit organization. Conclusion is the epilogue which devoted to several conclusions, limitation and outlook for future research of this thesis.The innovation of this article lies in combing the evaluation methods of non-profit organization both at home and abroad, establishing the third-party effectiveness evaluation system by the method of analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.
