These years, with the rapid development of informatization and digitalization, media has undergone great changes. Micro-blog comes to be a major type of social media. Its characteristics are instantaneity, interactivity, transparency and "micro-structure" skills. It becomes a platform for many Netizens to express their opinions. Micro-blog has become an important way to make government information to the public and interact government affairs. This thesis concentrates on the study of the government affairs micro-blog of Wuhai. The author aims to point out the problems in it and gives some suggestions on how to make it a real interactive media between governmental departments, officers and citizens.The thesis is made up of four parts:The first part offers the readers the definition of micro-blog, the types, functions, developing conditions of micro-blog and necessity of developing micro-blog. Finally, finds out the reasons of the problems. The third part presents successful experience of micro-blog development in and abroad. The forth part makes some constructive suggestions for the development of Wuhai government affairs micro-blog.
