With the rapid development of economic society and application of science and technology, internet has infected our social life deeply. People become increasingly eager to express opinions about social phenomena through the network, the net-mediated public sentiment has been widely existed in our life. For the development of modern network technology, the government facing a great challenge to establish a scientific crisis warning and management mechanism to promote the capacity of our government in dealing with crisis events. This paper introduces the concept and characteristics of net-mediated public sentiment, analyzing its impaction in the process of occurrence and development of government crisis management, and then putting forward measures to construct the government crisis management mechanism from the perspective of net-mediated public sentiment in order to help the Chinese government to defuse the crisis management.Firstly, the article introduces the background and significance of topics and summaries the results of the domestic and international relevant research in this field. Secondly, on the basis of the generalization of net-mediated public sentiment and government crisis management mechanism, the article analyzes the interaction between the two. Thirdly, putting forward four kinds of government crisis management mechanism of ne-mediated public sentiment based on the former introduction: pre-crisis mechanism, communication mechanism, decision-making mechanism and evaluation mechanism. Then shows the application value through the analysis of the event of MH370, from which we can find the progress and shortcomings in handling crisis events of our government in recent years and put forward some reasonable opinions and suggestions for future net-mediated public sentiment and government crisis management. At last, summarizing the article and forecasting the future development of the government crisis management mechanism under the network public opinion.
