| The current transition in Chinese society influences the overall urbanization rapidly. With the resultof family planning in the past four decades, the outflow of rural labor forces and the shock in people’smind by culture and different life methods, the rural family scale has minimized. The conciseness offamily structure makes the rural family nesting surge rapidly. However, in the central area, the overallrural family economic abilities are weak. The pressure of the labor force outflow on the pension ofempty-nesters surviving in rural areas has become the key livelihood problem in the current domesticaging pension issues.The research analyzes the Weichuan Town represented the rural area in Central Region, expects tofind the pension situation of rural empty-nesters with its research analysis and find their main lifeproblems. At the same time, it makes comparative research on empty-nesters living in different pensionpatterns and expects to integrate the strengths and deficiencies of different pension patterns to find theproper pension pattern and path.It firstly analyzes the current situation and characteristics of empty-nesters in Weichuan Town,determines main concerning items of elder life by questionnaire analysis and builds quantitative tools,analyzes empty-nesters with four dimensions of children support, health situation, self-care ability andsupport system subsequently, combines the analysis of the self-care in local areas and social publicpensions to discuss advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of research, puts forward new pensionmethods fitting in Central Region in accordance with empirical analyzing results, combines two levelsof town and village governments to contact elder families to build proper “village and town” householdendowment pattern commonly for empty-nesters. In the end, for these problems, this research putsforward related recommendations after analyzing the current obstacles in front of each kind of pensionpatterns. |
