Research Of Rural Contradiction Of Southern Jiangsu Province And Solutions To This Problem

The Party Central Committee has always attached great importance to the "threerural issues". In recent years, the "construction of new socialist countryside",accelerate the pace of rural urbanization development strategy. At present, China’srural society is in the economic and social transformation period. Along with the rapiddevelopment of the rural economy, forms of organization and the rural residents ofrural social consciousness of profound changes are taking place. Subsequently, allkinds of rural grassroots contradictions have become increasingly frequent, if nottimely solved, the stability of rural society will affect the development of rural society.However, with the continuous advancement of new rural construction, the ruralgrass-roots also appeared the contradiction of different types, affected the socialharmony and stability in rural areas.Based on the basic contradictions in rural areas of South of Jiangsu as theresearch object, I focused on types and causes of basic contradictions in rural South ofJiangsu in the new period of research, finally put forward the solution.Firstly basic theory of rural contradiction is introduced. Huntington’s socialtransformation and social change theory, Dahrendorf and Lewis A. Coser’s socialconflict theory, and Judith Blau and Peter Blau’s sense of relative deprivation theory,are fundamental to the cause of rural contradiction. Secondly, the current status of contradictions in rural areas of South Jiangsu isanalyzed. There are four factors for the causes of rural contradiction. First is thegovernment function and role dislocation, second is the conflict of interestdifferentiation，third is the legal construction imperfect, fourth is the difference ofpeople’s outlook on life and values. From the type of point of view, the contradictionis triggered by marriage and family contradiction, disorders of the relation betweenthe cadres and the masses, new situation of environmental pollution and landacquisition demolition. Based on the type and causes of contradiction, ruralcontradictory tendencies, namely is diversified basic contradictions, group eventshighlighted and confrontational significantly enhanced.The method and experience of treatment of basic contradictions at home andabroad is analyzed. The domestic Fengqiao Experience and Jiangsu experience, Japanand America ADR system, a sound social security system and social assistance systemin Northwest Europe are summarized. Combined with the actual Chinese rural areastatus, it is of great help to solve the contradiction of South Jiangsu’s countrysideproblem.Finally, to solve the contradiction is asked to do from many aspects. Firstly,people’s mediation mechanism and scientific and democratic decision-making systemshould be improved. Secondly, the supply of public goods in rural areas, and ruralsocial security should be strengthened; income distribution system and the agricultureinsurance should be improved. Thirdly, we should pay attention to the improvement ofadministrative legislation and law enforcement, standardize government behavior;also focus on intensify propaganda of law, form good social atmosphere to guidefarmers to understand the law, law-abiding, improve the quality of the peasants withsocialist core values.
