Currently, in China, Disabled people are a large-scale population, all kinds of people with disabilities add up the total number of over 85 million. Despite the large number of disabled people but has traditionally been outside the scope of vulnerable groups, it is significant for the country’s development and social harmony to develop a good cause for disabled people. A large number of difficulties are encountered by disabled people in our society, the most important of which is the problem of employment. A job means not only financial resources for people with disabilities, what’s more important for them is participating in social life, breaking the segmentation and integrating into the mainstream of society through employment. To solve this problem, the author take the time factor into account, based on the existing researches about employment of people with disabilities. Our aim is to examine different stages of the employment of disabled people, to understand and reflect on their experience, to find what is impeding disabled people from achieving employment and social integration. Because of that, I use qualitative research methods, made in-depth interviews with eight disabled people. I will collect information through their in-depth description of the course of their employment, and discover the crux through collect and analysis the obtained information. After the study, I got to this conclusion: the main course of the employment of disabled people including education, employment, career, etc. In several stages throughout the course of employment, the social inclusion of disabled people formed a kind of "integration-Segmentation-reintegration" model. Unfair job market, difficulties in seeking the job, resulting in lower demand level of disabled people, hindering them from social integration. To this end, we propose to achieve undifferentiated employment among healthy people and disabled people, support sheltered employment, strengthen education and vocational training, develop disability social work, as well as supportive employment policy. I believe we can help disabled people to break through the segmentation, and consistently integrate into society through the processes of education, and employment.
