The Influence Factors Of Public Panic After An Unconventional Emergency Occurs

With the rapid development of the economic and society, the earth’s ecological environment has suffered from serious destruction, and the conflict between national, ethnic, cultural and others became increasingly serious, the world has presented a multi-polarization and complicated pattern, unconventional emergencies happened increasingly frequently, its scale and rising destructive power has brought unprecedented threat and challenge to the human society. The rarity, diversity and complexity of unconventional emergency, as well as the unpredictability in the evolution and development, lead to the emergency management of unconventional emergencies more difficult. It is indispensable to use scientific and reasonable methods and tools for unconventional emergency’s management. Through establishing theoretical model, this paper aims to analysis the affecting factors of public panic and their relationship in the unconventional emergency scenario, then put forward feasible and effective implementing suggestions for the unconventional emergency’s management.First of all, this paper introduces the background, content, methods and research status at home and abroad of the research, as well as the related theory of unconventional emergencies, people panic and structure equation, which lays solid theoretical foundation for the following study.Secondly, this article summarizes the factors affecting public panic under emergency of predecessors’ research, Taking into account of the public individual factor, the objective characteristics of unconventional emergencies, people’s perception of unconventional emergencies, information factors, social support to build the people panic relationship model of influencing factors under unconventional emergency scenario.Thirdly, this paper put forward empirical analysis of the theory model, use the method of questionnaire investigation to statistical analysis the collected data by SPSS 19.0, then use AMOS17.0 to analysis the path of structural equation, to explore the relationship between the factors and analysis the differences of gender of the structural equation model.Finally, according to the result of the analysis, based on reducing the occurrence of the public panic, in the perspective of the government, information dissemination media, the people, and social participation put forward the corresponding suggestions respectively, promoting the development of unconventional emergency management.
