A Study On Employment Of The Disabled Supported By The Government In Anhui Province

Disability is neither an isolated social phenomenon nor a problem of its owner. On the contrary, the disabled is the part of social relations and the existence of social reality. It is an inevitable social cost that human beings need to pay for the development of human society. And as the most difficult and the least competitive special group, the disabled people is long-standing and numerous in society so that there are no other disadvantaged groups that can be compared with them anymore in difficulty and trapped time. Therefore, it is not only a scale of human civilization and social progress but also the responsibility of the society and government to correctly understand and solve the disabled. So there is well-off disabled people there is real well-off in an all-round way. Only through the employment can the disabled raise living standards and realize their own value, which requires the government’s strong support. Therefore, we need to study current situation of the disabled with government’s support, help them effectively and play the role of government in the process of employment for the disabled. Only in this way can we make them fully enjoy the right of equal employment.The author conducted research and interview on the spot of the disabled from some cities in Anhui province, used SPSS software to analyze datum and probed into the factors of affecting employment for the disabled and government’s supporting situation. Based on official statistics from the China Disabled Persons’ Federation, the author found that there were some problems in the process of employment for the disabled supported by the government. The author has put forward the countermeasures and Suggestions to solve the problem on the basis of related theories. There are six parts in this thesis as follow.Chapterl:The author explained explicitly the research background, purpose and significance, systematized domestic and foreign theories of employment for the disabled, expounded its research methods and innovations, summarized the contents of the paper, and put forward theoretical framework of this thesis.Chapter2:The author summarized the relative concepts of employment for the disabled, elaborated and analyzed the theoretical basis of employment for the disabled supported by the government, and provided the solution of this problem with theoretical support. Then it stated the basic situation of employment for the disabled supported by the government.Chapter3:The author analyzed the basic situation of employment for the disabled supported by the government in Anhui Province including policy support and their achievements in recent years.Chapter4:Through the research and interview conducted on the spot of the disabled from six cities in Anhui province,the author used SPSS software to analyze datum so as to provide a basis for the analysis of the problem.Chapter5:The author integrated statistics from China Disabled Persons’ Federation, summarized some problems of Anhui provincial government’s support for the disabled employment.Chapter6:The author put forward measures and suggestions to solve the problem of employment for the disabled on the basis of its achievements, current situation and factors.
