Job Burnout is a state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion in work situations. In recent years,With the rapid development of society and the acceleration of the organization reformand system reforms and different pressure form work and life,Civil servants, job burnout is gradually terrible. Civil servants, job burnout has not only affected seriously the health of themselves and led to the instability of their team,but only has pessimistc impact on the quality and efficiency of public service, executive ability and public trust of the government.This paper takes civil servants in Chengdu as the research object,who covers Chengdu city,municipal county and township offices and includes three types of administrative enforcement,comprehensive management and professional technic.The questionnaire was conducted in anonymous form.Survey data form effective questionnaire and inclividual interview.Was dealed with by SPSS13.0 for windows and AMOS7.0 for windows.It provides empirical data support for the paper.Through the investigation of 491 government civil servants, there is a common phenomenon of job burnout among government civil servants in Chengdu,but it is not terrible.In the three dimensions of job burnout, the results of the survey were analyzed and classified by likert scale,The analysis shows that there are 40% in the emotional exhaustion aspect and 36.7% problems in depersonalization aspect and 38.5% in lack of personal accomplishment. By single factor analysis,The three dimensions of civil servants, job burnout have signifcant differences in some aspects,including gender,age,education,income,working age,tenure,And there are also significant differences in the work area,work department,work nature and so on.Besides analyzeing the cause and harm of the civil servants’ job burnout,the paper propose the path and measures of Government Civil Servants’ job burnout which include from three aspects, individual,the organization,the society.The aim of this paper is to protect the health of civil servants and promote the development of the government civil servants,and improve the efficiency of government work,promote the construction of harmonious society,It has important theoretical and practical significance.
