At present, the Jieyang municipal administrative cadres team highlights the characteristics of knowledge, youth and women, resulting in the nature of the chemical effect. However, there are still a lot of problems in the selection and appointment of young female cadres in Jieyang city. It is of great significance to strengthen the construction of the leading bodies of Jieyang city and the contingent of cadres through focusing on the difficulties and problems faced by the young female cadres in their work.This paper takes the selection and appointment of young female cadres in Jieyang city as an example, analyzes the current problems of young female cadre selection and appointment in Jieyang city, such as the loss of young female cadre selection and appointment system; without the introduction of policies for young female cadres selection and appointment; lack of gender awareness in the process of selection and appointment; promotion channels are not smooth; selection method is relatively simple, easy to elect a high score of low energy cadres; the selection work has been subject to the subjective resistance of young female cadres. These problems have affected the orderly development of the young female cadres’ selection and appointment in Jieyang city.This paper first analyzes the current situation, related systems and measures, as well as problems of young female cadres selection and appointment in Jieyang City. After that, the author put forward some suggestions to improve the system based on the experience of the selection and appointment in other parts of the country. For example, to establish the management system of the young female cadres selection and appointment, to perfect selection and appointment mechanism of non-Party young female cadres, to improve the young female cadres selection and appointment of supervision system, to form an equal and fair competition system and to encourage county government to carry out the developing innovation in the selection and appointment mechanism. In addition, the author also suggested that the administrative department to improve organizational structures of the young female cadres selection and appointment, to progressively eliminate the traditional concept of " outer-man and inner-woman" in Chaoshan area, complete the selection, appointment and training mechanism of female cadres, and to promote the group consciousness and individual ability of young female cadres. At last, the author hopes that these measures can help the party and government organs at all levels in Jieyang city to carry out the selection and appointment of young female cadres in a more scientific way and provide guidance to help the party and government organs at all levels in Jieyang city with selection and appointment of a number of outstanding young female to form complementary advantages with male cadres in order to optimize the structure of leading cadres in Jieyang City and provide effective reference to establish high-quality cadres.
