As higher vocational education plays an important role in personnel training anddevelopment, it is are becoming more and more incentive competition between highervocational colleges. The main problem, the Liming Vocational University faced, isthat how to become bigger and stronger, how to cultivate talents to meet the needs ofsociety, and how to stand in the forefront of higher vocational colleges, the key factoris to improve the teaching level and teaching quality. So it is necessary to establish aset of complete performance management system for teachers.This paper introduces the basic concepts, ideological and theoretical foundationof performance management and the teacher performance management. Secondly, itis to study the current situation of Liming Vocational University teacher performancemanagement from the angle of the school performance management, assessmentprocedure, assessment content, assessment of results of classification and evaluationof the main introduces, and in-depth analysis of knowledge at present there are not inplace, no obvious effect of two departments, lack of communication in the process,index design features, without distortion, the lack of feedback etc.. According to thekey performance index method,360degree assessment, the balanced scorecard,management by objectives, and redesign principles of the strategic goal oriented,unity, effective incentives, scientific and objective, the teacher performancemanagement system of Liming Vocational University is redesigned from two aspectsof the implementation of the performance management. Finally, related guaranteemeasures are proposed, such as the establishment of top management support,humanistic care, establish and improve the performance management system andperfect the information network system, and improve the logistics system.
