With the deepening of curriculum reform, middle school sports teaching problem increasinglyprominent. Physical education cannot be carried out in accordance with the academic way of teaching, middleschool students are in physical development stage, the students’ physical quality is uneven, so how do we letthe students get development, how to make students get the most suitable for their own education, theemergence of these problems to our education put forward the problems and challenges, also is the top priority.In order to find the methods to solve the problem, in this paper, on the basis of HuiZhen college basketballteaching grade7, layered teaching experiment, through the teaching experiment research on stratified teachingmethods in practice and theory research.In order to solve the student in the basketball in the classroom teaching of "quickness" and "do not haveenough to eat" the polarization phenomenon, can get the number of students in different levels ofdevelopment, improve the students learning interest in basketball, real play to the student’s own potential. Thisarticle USES the literature material law, expert interview method, mathematical statistics, the method ofteaching experiment, and the collected experimental data statistics and analysis of the related stratifiedteaching theory, on the basis of detailed discusses the stratification teaching experiment operating proceduresand strategies, and make the relevant analysis of the effect.The results showed that: high school basketball course using the layered teaching mode can improve thestudents’ technical level and the entire class, for carrying out stratification teaching of physical educationcurriculum can provide the help. First layered teaching mode, and so did the students’ interest in learning,students in the class can consciously actively according to the specified target practice of teaching teachers,classroom atmosphere and create a mutual help; Second, the layered teaching mode can improveself-confidence, behind to help improve their sports level; Finally, the layered teaching mode to cultivatestudents’ consciousness of lifetime sports.
