The Tardiness Of History Textbook During The High School In Absorbing New Achievements In History Research About Boxer Rebellion

In this paper, the latest history textbook as the study project, the Boxer Rebellion asthe starting point for the high school history to analyze the tardiness of history textbooks,in order to help absorb new achievements in history research. Its body consists of sixchapters.Chapter one introduces the research aim of this paper, analyses the importance ofhistory textbooks in history teaching, summarizes the innovation and writing ideas.Chapter two compares the Boxer Rebellion in four editions high school historytextbooks. Four high school history textbooks is the latest version of the history textbookafter the curriculum reform, by comparing the history textbooks can help us to understandit. This part is the comparative analysis of the four editions high school history textbooksabout Boxer Rebellion, mainly from the system and the different of the text system. Thischapter also analysis the writing pattern and their characteristics about Boxer Rebellion inthe four editions history textbooks. Four versions of high school history textbook on theBoxer Rebellion all have their own characteristics, but the tardiness of its absorbtion ofnew achievements in history research still existed.Chapter three discusses the tardiness of history textbooks in absorbing newachievements in history research about Boxer Rebellion.
