| It is an important part of the Chinese urbanization strategy to promote migrant workes’ urbanization process. Although under the policy action, social action and the effort frommigrant workers themselves, the institutional barriers has been gradually broken down, stillmost urban migrant workers are in the stage of embedding the urban ociety, they did not achieve to integrate into the city structurally.Apart from the systems, structures and social-cultural reasons, one of the most important reasons is that migrant workers failed to synchronize with the urban lifestyle. Therefore, from the perspective of life, going deep into the daily life of migrant workers, investigating the differences between the lifestyle of the migrant workers and citizen, promoting the lifestyle of the migrant workers more urbanized, are very important for the migrant workers’urbanization process.In this thesis we investigated the lifestyle of the migrant workers from XX community, E District C City of Jilin Province. The result shows that there are some problems of the migrant workers’ lifestyle, such as:"be slovenly, dressing dirty,""public places, vulgar talking" and "littering, lack of awareness of environmental health,"these problems affect the public’s acceptance of their urban integration.With this project we use the social work method, to change the original lifestyle of the samples. The team work is about "dress nicely, stay away from drab","public places, talk quietly","garbage into the trashcan, change the world" these three aspects to guide the migrant workers to change their countryside lifestyle, and developing to the urban lifestyle, so that they could get the public psychological and cultural identity, finally to achieve the goal of integrating into the city successfully.The project assessment shows that the method of social work, from the perspective of changing lifestyle to promote the urbanization process of the migrant workers, are very effective and worth promoted. |
