Abstract:The head teacher is the organizer, the leader as well as the educator in aclass who bond all other teachers together. Meanwhile, the head teacher plays an importantroll in school education, family education and social education. The responsibilities of thehead teacher are the educator, manager, and the people who provide service. The headteachers are educators because they propagandize, lesson, and disabuse the students. Thehead teachers are managers because they manage each class, each student and the wholeschool. The head teachers are people who provide service because they provide educationservice to students and their parents. The thesis starts from the actual school management,taking the head teachers and class management as research subjects, and working throughthe surveys, the case studies, and the interviews to the study of the class management of aPE teacher in two aspects as follows.Firstly, surveys and interviews. Using the surveys, interviews, and data collectionto analyze and clarify the ideological situation, the interest level, cognitive level, and theability level of current students, to clarify new questions, new situations, and newcharacteristics of the work of head teachers, and to raise new direction for the developmentof required teachers. One content of the study is the function of head teacher. Therespondent is the relative management team, the students and the parents. The objective isto find issues existed in class management of the head teachers. Another content of thestudy is current situation analysis of the head teacher. The respondent is the head teacher.The objective is to understand head teachers’ understanding of expertise, their gain andloss during the work, and their opinions to the school management.Secondly, this thesis conducts research by case study. Case1: Getto know the implementation of head teacher’s job concerning the class managementthrough analyzing the class objectives. Case2: Get to know the implementation of head teacher’s job concerning the help and management ofstudents who are poor in study and behavior. Case3: Analyze the head teacher’s methodof cultivating a sense of honor of students.According to the analysis, the environment of most classes is satisfying. Therelationship of teachers and students are well built. The students have a sense of grouphonor, actively participate group activities,and help and care for each other. Otherfindings include the internal and external factors that limit the function of head teachers,and the current situation of head teachers’ function.The results of the study represent that the development of the school lies on theefficiency of class management and fully use of the head teacher. The critical factors arethe training of head teachers, improvement of the quality of head teachers, andimprovement of the class management system.
