The purpose of education is to improve the quality of the human being, to make people obtain the sense of achievement and happiness and to speed the healthy progress of society. Mental health education is the most important part of the quality-oriented education because it can help people develop the mental potential and gain better mental quality and improve themselves of adaptability to the world. Senior high school students are growing rapidly and facing the pressure of study and College Entrance Examination, which is a sensitive period with many mental sufferings. Therefore, high school mental health education is becoming more important and important. However, mental health education isn’t carried out efficiently by school and society because of their poor understanding. The head-teacher, a special role of school, undertakes the duty of carrying out the mental health education and possesses the advantageous superiority. Through out the analysis of the mental health status of the situation of the class as well as the definition and content of the mental health education, we may obtain implementation the feasibility and effectiveness of the mental health education. At last we can achieve the principles and methods of the mental health education. By constructing the "Head teacher-Leading Model" of mental health education, to make students develop in an all-around way and grow healthily.
