Development And Utilization Of Xilin Gol League Local History Curriculum Resources

With the deepening of the new high school curriculum, development and utilizationof curriculum resources to promote the overall students’ development has become the consensus of many front-line teachers. History lessons are rich in curriculum resources, including local history curriculum resources if they can be fully developed and applied to high school history teaching, it is significant in changing the way students learn, achieving the course objectives and promoting the new curriculum reform. So the author takes Xilin Gol League as an example to explore how the local history curriculum resources are applied to high school history teaching effectively in order to better implement the curriculum goals, and more actively promote the new curriculum reform.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part introduces the backgroundof the selected topic, current research and research methods in the introduction.The second part of the Xilin Gol League summarizes the rich history curriculum resources and analyzes the development and utilitity of local history curriculum resources role from the five aspects:from the needs to develop students’ emotional love for the motherland, love for his hometown, and is conducive to the protection of national cultural heritage, help develop students’ interest in learning, help students transform their learning methods and teachers’ teaching methods.Part Ⅲ:the author takes Sonid Right Banner Comprehensive Senior High School, where I teach, as an example, through questionnaires I analyzed the application situation of Xilin Gol League local history curriculum resources in high school history teaching.hePart Ⅳ:Combining with practice, the author elaborates the approaches of applying local history curriculum resources from the following four aspects:interspersed narration in the classroom, conduct designated topic seminars, apply local history curriculum resources to conduct research study as well as in history hobby group.Part Ⅴ:the author puts foreward proposals on further development and utilization of local history curriculum resources in these two aspects:the enhancement of developing teachers’ awareness of local history curriculum resources and improvement of the evaluation system of teaching local history...
