Teacher performance appraisal is the core of human resource management in schoolteachers. Teacher performance appraisal system has the effect of supervision, incentive,promote, guide and very important for the teacher’s teaching and daily management work.Learning ability, professional development of teachers and students to improve thedevelopment level of the school have a great impact. With the continuous development ofeducation and quality education, teachers’ ability and quality also began to be paidattention to. The teacher teaching ability level not only determines the quality of teachingin schools, has great influence on students development. So the teacher performanceappraisal becomes very important. This paper studies the vocational high school teachersperformance appraisal, and the Chongqing women’s occupation senior high school as anexample, analyzes the existing problems of performance appraisal of vocational highschool teachers, and the corresponding countermeasures.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction part, mainly introduces the research background,research significance, research purpose, research contents and research methods.The second chapter is the theory part, mainly introduced the concept of performance,performance appraisal, vocational school teacher performance appraisal and the relatedtheory and current research situation of vocational school teacher performance appraisal.The third chapter is to the Chongqing city women’s occupation senior high school andthe school teacher performance appraisal present situation introduction, this part mainlyanalyses the Chongqing women’s occupation senior middle school teachers in theperformance management method through questionnaire analysis, points out the existingproblems in the process of teacher performance appraisal.The fourth chapter puts forward the countermeasures to guarantee the smoothprogress of the performance appraisal of teachers, such as improving the evaluation system,evaluation index, evaluation criterion of optimization adjustment, improve assessmenttechnology, focusing on appraisal feedback.The fifth chapter is the conclusion, summarizing the research result of this paper, theshortcomings and future research directions.
