Population and land, economic, political and other factors have always been very closely,to become scholars continuously research to explore the important research object. From amacro perspective, demographic changes related to many aspects of political, economic, cultural and military of a country, from the microscopic point of view will affect the overalldevelopment of a region. With the impact of population issues in the other field deepening, the scope of the research is no longer limited by many scholars in general theoretical level. They more and more attention from the application point of view to study the relationshipbetween population and other factors, and conduct research through the use of differentmethods from different spatial perspective on population density, population structure, population growth, has made great progress. But at the same time there are also manydeficiencies. On the spatial scale, most of the studies from the provincial, inter-city focus, while ignoring the small-scale, small-scale studies; spatial dimensions, most studies startingfrom a single dimension, ignoring the hold from different angles, multi-dimensional spaceconversion analysis; in the time period, the majority of articles were for a range of elementswithin a small time change research, apparently ignoring a large step change in the time rangeof the population; in the study, a separate analysis of the population, or more emphasis onanalysis of population and the environment, and ignoring the importance of other factors. Inview of the above shortcomings, the authors try starting small scale, in a wide range of timeand its impact on the population and more elements of the spatial dimension, a phased studyto arouse some thought.By analyzing the following conclusions: first, the increase and decrease in the populationgrowth rate of population growth through the conclusion of stage characteristics describe thetotal population obtained through the analysis of factors that may affect, draw phasecharacteristics of the impact of population growth relevant elements. Second, according tothe division of the four spatial dimensions of space, Liaoning Province,61geographic unitsstudied, showing a summary of population growth characteristics of different spatialdimensions, combined with economic factors by analyzing results of other divisions except14prefecture-level cities dimension lower levels of population growth and regional economicdevelopment and people ’s living standards were shown uncoordinated developmentcharacteristics conclusion. Third, the correlation analysis of the relationship between space research and its population growth and economic growth following conclusions: In terms ofpopulation growth, the province’s total population growth relatively mild, the overalldownward trend in the population growth rate, the growth of both a large amount of changein the basic region of overlap, showing the overall population growth was a significantpositive correlation between the province’s population growth in the county correlation indextrends seven stages of change with time at different stages and metastasis; in economicgrowth, GDP and per capita national income residents line chart shows that from1980to2012changes in the characteristics of Liaoning Province and the economic level of livingstandards of the people’s economy, which is characterized by spatial correlation with thepopulation growth of the law is not significant, indicating that the population growth fromspace correlation between the level of economic development and regional and livingstandards are not consistent.
