The new curriculum standard has made great changes in the nature of curriculum and curriculumobjectives, both in the knowledge and ability of teachers put forward higher requirements. The teacher isthe implementation of the new curriculum reform, teachers’ professional qualities, is directly related to thesmooth implementation of new curriculum reform, the teachers’ professional knowledge is an importantcomponent of teacher’s professional quality, therefore, to improve the professional knowledge of teachersunder the background of new course standard is the foundation and key. In higher normal colleges is thetraining base for future teachers, the main channel is quasi teacher knowledge disciplines, to promote thenew curriculum reform smoothly in the study of subject knowledge learning situation of biological normalcollege students, professional development for teachers, but also conducive to the optimization scheme ofbiological normal students.Based on the literature, not many studies found for normal school students’ knowledge learningsituation, part of the research on the subject knowledge of high school biology teachers, includinginvestigation of three provinces in Northeast China, Shanxi province made a survey in Henan Province,there is little. This study is on the basis of biological survey in Henan province six provincial normalcolleges of professional courses, to "high school biology curriculum standard" as the basis, combined withthe high school biology textbooks, comparative analysis of normal school students’ knowledge training andhigh school teachers’ content knowledge demand is consistent with the problem.Based on the extensive literature, defines the related concept, and the research status of teacherknowledge is summarized. With the new curriculum reform as the background, based on knowledge of target class "high school biology curriculum standard" in the new textbook content and grosschanges, find the new requirements of new curriculum for biology teachers’ knowledge of. Through theanalysis of the background of the new course standard of biology teachers should master the biologicalbody of knowledge into seven categories: basic knowledge of life, knowledge, the history of scienceknowledge, the frontiers of knowledge, the knowledge, the scientific method and knowledge ofbiotechnology knowledge. After that, the biological professional required courses in six normal universitiesjointly set up the corresponding materials as the object of study, find out the problem of biological normalsubject professional knowledge training in new standard of normal colleges and universities. Finally, putforward reasonable suggestions:(1) is arranged reasonably to improve the professional course;(2) payattention to education content and biological knowledge of middle school phase;(3) pay attention to thecourse content and the practical life;(4) open the history of biology curriculum and Science Frontiers;(5)strengthen and high school experimental content contact;(6) attention to the scientific method andbiological technology knowledge for normal students.
