ObjectiveIn this prospective study, social support intervention effect was evaluated and accessed,through the social support cross-sectional and longitudinal compare and contrast among3pairs of groups, to explore the role of psychological intervention in the mental health recovery process, for providing scientific evidence of making better new life for later migration.MethodsDocument analysis method and fieldwork analysis method was combined together as the analysis methods, and multistage stratified cluster sampling was used as the sampling method. In each investigation, basic information self-made questionnaire and SSRS were made used of as a measuring tool to take questionnaire survey. The data was accessed by SPSS17.0statistical software with t test, chi squire test, ANOVA, and nonparametric test, α=0.05.ResultFirstly, through cross-sectional and longitudinal contrast and comparison of the general immigration social support in Danjiangkou reservoir area, it shows that social support utilization of the first immigrants after psychological intervention was obviously enhanced than other groups, and the differences were statistically significant (p <0.05).Secondly, through longitudinal contrast and stratified analysis the before and after invention immigration groups, it manifests that social support utilization of immigrants after intervention is much higher than before. Meanwhile, according to the different stratification standards, it illustrates that social support is more effective in young and middle adults, the lower cultural level, the famer, higher income household after psychological intervention.Thirdly, through cross sectional contrast among the3groups that the immigration after intervention group, waiting list group, and residents group, it proves that after intervention immigrants enhanced their objective social support and social support utilization than before, which was no obvious difference with residents. Moreover, social support was in different levels improvement in accordance with six kinds of stratification standards, such as age, sex, marital status, annual per capita income, occupation, and education level.ConclusionThis study comprehensive accessed the social support intervention effect of the first settlers of the Danjiangkou reservoir area, provide possible evidence of psychological intervention phase, and make foundation to further research. Through the survey, we found that the main effect of psychological intervention was in immigration social support utilization improvement, for the subjective social support, objective support part, and the overall social support situation the role was not that significant. Therefore, immigration rights and insurance system perfection, effective psychological intervention and supervision system construction, health services human resource allocation and flow mechanism formation, policy propaganda strengthen, communication information platform building would be much essential to ensure the sustained and effective psychological intervention for immigrants.
