Social case work is one of the three major work methods of social work, Andcase work practice theory is an important plate of social work. The other is base on the practice experience that from the local perspective, to promoteThe development of the social case work practice theory that contain the local cultural characteristicsThis paper takes Guangzhou city as the goal, to Guangzhou’s social workers as the research object,Throughintroducing and anslysisingthe reelated concepts of social case work, to Figure outthe premise and foundation of social case work localization.In this paper, development situation of Guangzhou social work on case work were investigated, using typical case study, questionnaireandand action research four research methods in all, to understand the status quo of Guangzhou case work and existing problems.In the light of the existing problems,this papertake reflection and analysis from the aspects of theory and practice, the one important reason for the current problems is the case work theory and practice out of touch, social workers access to practical theory help is not much, And according to this,this paper concludethe practical theory is the urgent need for the development of localization. Then, according to the theory of case work practice of localization of the subject, this paper puts forward integration of local characteristics, learn from the local experience, the construction of social work personnel, improve the assessment mechanism and improve the level of the four point proposal on social work education. Finally, this paper summarizes the research work, points out some deficiencies in depth of research, research methods, research process and research proposals.
