Pan S is a famous psychologist and educator in our country, he also is the first president of Nanjing University. He had more than thirty years teaching experience and cultivated a number of psychology talents. Which made incomparable contribution to psychology career in our country. In the institution of the early days and every things waiting to be done in Higher Education. As the first president of Nanjing University, Pan S lead the other leaders to carry out a series of reforms. Such as departments adjustments, curriculum reforms and the improvement of campus environment. Which have laid a solid foundation for the development of Nanjing University. His various reform measures fully revealed that he as a psychologist of university president has outstanding leadership and management ability, it also demonstrated Pan S as university president is the indelible contribution. But the research in his university management concept and his teaching method is so little. Seeing from the exist research of Pan S in the past, people always focused on the study of Pan S’Psychology Thoughts. But the research of his higher education thoughts and college management concepts is very little. So it is very important for us to make research in Pan S’high education concepts and management concepts. It will take very important significance for today’s personnel training.This study aims to catch Pan S’educator and university administrator twofold identity, combing and mining his practice of psychology teaching and university management. After sorting out and analyzing of material, we will discuss his education view from the following four aspects:Environment Education, Teacher Education, Teaching Education and Moral Character Education. Then extract his education thought and concept from his experiences. Hoping to provide enlightenment and reference for today’s personal training and university management. This research mainly adopts literature analysis and historical research.The main part of this paper includes the following five parts:The first part is the background of Pan S’higher education thoughts. Including his psychology learning portfolio, social activities experience and college reforms. The second part is teaching education, mainly thinking about his teaching ways and methods from the point of his full teaching experience, then sum out his teaching concept.The third part is teacher education. Combing his teaching concepts from the two view of his teacher and college management identities. The forth part is environment education, to sum up his campus environment construction ways and measures from his university management practice. The last part is conclusions and enlightenments of this paper.Respectively from the angle of student’s development and university management,we sum up Pan S’ educational idea:From the point of student’s development, he paid attention to combine internal and external factors; From the point of university management,he combined dominant factors and hidden factors.
