The executive ability of middle-level managers is the ability of themiddle-level managers to understand and carry out the established strategy, policyof the school, and achieve objectives.The executive ability of the middle-level managers relevants with the communication of the school’ information and policy, andalso with the efficiency of the running of school. Recent years, affectedby the policy, the scale of the secondary vocational schools continue to expand, the multi campus mode has been quite common, which presents new challenges to the schoolmanagement. The middle-level managers assume the role of Information accessibility between the school decision-makers(principal) and the teachers.The status of their executive ability directly affects the survival and development of the schools. In this paper, using the observation, interview and questionnaire methods and so on, from three different level about the decision layer (principal), executive layer(middle cadres), operation layer (teachers),we carries on the executive ability of the middle-level managers in the multi campus mode of the current Secondary Vocational schools. And then,as a case study of A school, through references study and empirical study,it will analysis and arrange the present situation and the existing problems of executive ability of the Secondary Vocational schools, and put forward the suggestions of how to improve the executive ability of the middle-level managers. That is: make clear the responsibilities to aviod deviation of position; improvethe clarity of the policy to avoid the policy misreading;regroup the organizational structure to enhance the execution efficiency; encourage the innovation of work to enhance the execution creativity of the middle-level managers;optimize the i mplementation process to form the benign communication and feedback mechanism. Only from the improvement of the execution environment, security system, implementation process, and the quality of implementation, the middle-level cadres can give full play to the role of a bridge, and really promote their executive ability.
