Tibetans are noted for diligence, wisdom, plainness, intrepidness, which is anancient minority and one of excellent Chinese family members. The Tibetan art cultureis profound, prominent, remarkable with a long history. This great minority in snowyareas has formed its distinctive style and qualities, and meanwhile has cultivated anartistic miracle with unique Tibetan characteristics. So far, there are still so manypeople who have been researching its essence from arts institution and artists at homeand abroad. Kangba Tibetan area is full of cultural and natural resources, howeverthose resources aren’t fully exploited and utilized, not to mention the value of localresources. With the development of education, although the cause of education inKangba area has been improved to some degree, there are still lots of problems indeveloping art courses because of many reasons.Based on the current situation of art education in Ganzi Tibetan area and how toapply art resources of Tibetan area into teaching, according to theories and datacollected this thesis has analyzed the problems, looked into the intrinsic relationbetween art teaching of high school students’ in Ganzi Tibetan area and Kangba culture,and found out a proper way of art teaching of high school in this area. In term oflearning ethnic cultures and cultivating ethnic culture awareness, there isn’t enoughattention paid to art teaching in Tibetan area. Therefore, this thesis will put forwardhow to strengthen the exploitation and utilization of art resources in high school artteaching in that area, and illustrate how to apply those resources into our teaching, atthe same time how to deliver and innovate the local Kangba culture.The investigation is aiming at the education of art in Ganzi Tibetan area. Bymeans of literature researches, interviews, surveys, classifications and questionnaires, the author has analyzed the problems of art teaching in Ganzi Tibetan area, proposedsome advice, and also has a deep insight into the art teaching and culture at that place.The thesis consists of six chapters:Chapter1:elaborating the reasons, aims, significance of the investigation. Chapter2:understanding the local Kangba Tibetan culture and art teaching Chapter3:introduction, the art resources in Kangba Tibetan area.
