As China’s economic developing, Vocational and Technical Educationplays more important role in Higher Vocational Education. The teachers who undertakethe professional teaching job are the backbone of the development of higher vocationaleducation. Professional teachers who take part in practical training not only can meetthe needs of high-quality skilled personnel in social development and technologicalprogress, but also it can improve professional teachers’ practical teaching abilities. Onlyin this way can promote the development of professional teachers in vocational andtechnical colleges.In this paper, the author firstly has investigated teachers who take part in practicaltraining in enterprise, from four higher vocational colleges in Chen Du city. By utilizingMaslows hierarchy of needs, the author has carried on the analysis to the essence ofteachers who take part in practical training enthusiasm in enterprise. And the essence isteachers’ needs of material, study and development. In order to find out the essence ofproblem, the writer combines teachers’ needs with practical training enthusiasm.Secondly, carrying on the survey of influence factors that those professionalteachers who take part in practical training enthusiasm, analyzing the results and findingout important influence factors for these teachers. Firstly, teachers keep a vague statetowards practical training policy. Secondly, the attitudes and actual results aren’t betterthan what they excepted when teachers participate in enterprise practical training.Thirdly, the strenuous teaching tasks, teachers haven’t enough time activelyparticipating in enterprise practical training. Lastly, teachers are difficult to adapt toenvironment and culture of the enterprise. The influencing factors are analyzed fromtwo dimensions between internal and external. Internal factor refers to teachers’ ownneeds. External factor refers to objective conditions and teachers’ understanding of the objective conditions.Finally, combining with the analysis of influence factors and current situation, thewriter puts forward to some methods and suggestions that how to improve teachers’enthusiasm. Firstly, it is necessary to respect teachers and make the reasonable practicaltraining policy. Secondly, it is necessary to strengthen communication between schoolsand enterprises in order to ensure the effects of practical training. Thirdly, not onlyshould improve the conditions of teaching and practical training, but also it needs toraise the pay for teachers. Lastly, it is necessary to perfect teachers’ evaluation andexamination systems. This article takes the following three research methods: literatureresearch, interviews and questionnaire survey.Through the discussion of this paper, in order to clarify the influencing factors ofteachers who take part in practical training in enterprise, present voices of professionalteachers and expect more teachers to actively participate in enterprise training whichcan promote and perfect teachers’ practice teaching ability to make greater contributionto the development of higher vocational education for our country.
